Concert 5: Concerto Celebration: Bologne, Mendelssohn and Beethoven

The season concludes with Concerto Celebration, a concert of famous concertos but in a chamber music setting opening with a work by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, a composer fondly nicknamed the Black Mozart. Also on the program is Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 "The Emperor" featuring piano virtuoso Carlos Cesar Rodriguez.
