The Goal of the National Chamber Ensemble is to bring exceptional music that enriches our cultural life. From classical to contemporary compositions, internationally-acclaimed musicians provide outstanding performances of chamber music in an intimate setting. The Ensemble also hosts visiting guest artists.

To create an environment that is fun, welcoming and engaging, the musicians share fascinating, short anecdotes about the composer and music, giving the audience another perspective on understanding the performance. The National Chamber Ensemble offers the connoisseur, as well as the first-time concertgoer, an exciting, musical experience.

For the 2018-2019 season, NCE presents "Musical Adventures through the Time Machine." The project will  take the audience on a journey through the remarkable highlights from the periods or eras of Western Music starting with the Masters of the Italian Baroque, then jumping to "The Romantics" (Valentine's Gala featuring the music of Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Brahms, Saint-Saens and Dvorak), back to "The Classics" (Music of the Classical Era: Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven), and ending the season with "The Contemporaries" (featuring commissioned music of contemporary classical composers as well as crossover works featuring the premiere of Alexander Goldstein's new "Crossover Piano Trio"). This seasons's December's concert "Holiday Time Warp" will unite music from all the periods and musicians of all ages together in one program plus the winner of the Young Artist Competition performs. The season will present an adventure for our audience of experiencing the remarkable evolution of great music and the ability to enjoy, learn about, compare and contrast a variety of works from one period of music together on a program.

"I am thrilled to be a part of several performances this season all featuring different musical periods, Music of Italian Baroque, the Romantics, classical and contemporary. I find it exciting to perform music requiring a different approach of technique and expression and it's a great joy to be able to make music with my dear friends and colleagues."  Carlos Cesar Rodriguez pianist
