Dear Friends of Chamber Music,

We invite you to join us in celebrating our Inaugural Season.

The National Chamber Ensemble, Arlington's Ensemble in Residence, is dedicated to bringing high quality performances of great chamber music to the Arlington community as well as enriching the cultural life of the entire DC area. The audiences will experience the joy of listening to great music written for a small ensemble and performed in an intimate space. The ensemble's roster includes acclaimed Capital Area musicians and friends who come together for performances of Chamber Music from Duos, Trios to larger combinations of instruments. The ensemble will also host visiting guest artists.

We are committed to bringing the audience  exciting performances of extraordinary chamber music. The ensemble's repertoire includes diverse styles and periods from the Baroque to the finest works of our own time. The National Chamber Ensemble raises the Artistic standard by going beyond the musical performance. The musicians, as well as playing, are true ambassadors of their art. They bring the composers to life by engaging and interacting with the audience. The artists  share fascinating and witty stories about the music they love, to give the audience new ways of understanding the music. The audiences will enjoy the opportunity of sharing the musician's perspective of performing the compositions. The most important way of engaging the listener is to break the barrier between performer and audience and create an interactive, fun experience that is informative as well as entertaining.
