Colin Chatfield (double bass)

Colin Chatfield received his Bachelors Degree from the Eastman School of Music in 1999, studying with James Vandemark. After Graduation, he moved to the DC area to continue studies with Curtis Burris. Mr. Chatfield has been a member of the National Philharmonic, and the Annapolis Symphony since 2005. He has performed as a guest musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Washington Opera, Rochester Philharmonic, Harrisburg Symphony, and the Richmond Symphony. Most recently, he won a principle bass position with Orquestra Filharmonica de Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
