Du (violin)
Second Prize NCE Outstanding Young Artist Award recipient, Lawrence Du, 15, began his studies at age five with Mrs. Irina Briskin, followed by Vitally Briskin and currently with Mr. Ronald Mutchnick. He is also a winner of the MTNA Maryland Senior Division competition 2024, first place winner of the Asian American Music Society Competition (2023), and the BSYO Concerto Competition (2022). Lawrence is Co-Principal Violin II of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra and has toured Europe with the BSYO, performing in Italy, Slovenia, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Previously Co-Concertmaster of the BSYO Concert Orchestra.
